Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Mark Bazemore of Sylvania announce the engagement of their daughter, Jenna Raye Bazemore, to Barrett Conrad Rahn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harris B. Rahn Jr. of Clyo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Stella A. Seckinger and the late Mr. Ray L. Seckinger Sr. of Rincon, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubert J. Bazemore of Sylvania.

Jenna is a 2004 graduate of Screven County High School. She received a bachelor of science in kinesiology from Georgia Southern University and a doctor of physical therapy from the University of St. Augustine for health sciences. Jenna is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harris B. Rahn Sr. of Springfield and the late Mr. and Mrs. Hartridge H. Reiser of Springfield. Barrett is a graduate of Effingham County High School. He received an associate’s degree of applied science in environmental horticulture from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. Barrett is employed at CZM Foundation Equipment as the U.S. sales manager.

The wedding will take place September 21 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Sylvania, with the reception to follow at 563 Bazemore Loop in Sylvania. No local invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
