Jeanine Dorminey and Luke Webster

Edd and Janice Jaudon Dorminey of Tifton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jeanine Dorminey, to Luther David “Luke” Webster II, son of Craig and Sharon Webster of Alpharetta, and the late Janet Webster of Tifton.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.C. (Monk) Jaudon of Springfield, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Bob) Canady of Rincon, and Mrs. Virginia Dorminey and the late Mr. H.C. (Cap) Dorminey of Tifton.

Jeanine is a 2001 superior honor graduate of Tift County High School, a 2003 honor graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and a 2005 summa cum laude graduate of North Georgia College and State University. At NGCSU she was a starter for the Lady Saints basketball team and also a graduate assistant coach. She will receive her masters in mathematics education in May from NGCSU and will be employed as a math teacher at Greenbrier High School in Columbia County this upcoming fall.

The future bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Colonel Webster and the late Mrs. Ruth Webster of Chatsworth, Mrs. Mary Hobbs and the late Mr. Billy Hobbs of Dublin, and Mrs. JoAnn Gill and the late Mr. Virgil Gill of Tifton.

Luke is a 2000 superior honor graduate of Tift County High School, a 2004 magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University and is currently attending dental school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, where he is scheduled to graduate in May 2008.

A small wedding will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Wolf Mountain Vineyards and Winery in Dahlonega. An informal reception will be held at the Georgia Agrirama on May 26 in Tifton.
