Mr. and Mrs. Randy W. Edwards of Rincon are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Mandi Dwan, to Gerald Curtis Dingeldein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Dingeldein of Rincon, formerly of Mikado, Mich.
 
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joan Evans and the late James H. Evans of Rincon, and the late Henry and Alice Edwards of Guyton. Miss Edwards is a graduate of South Effingham High School and Savannah Technical College. She is currently employed part-time by All Points Transport while continuing her education. 
 
The groom-elect is the grandson of Gerald and Norma Vanderport of Harrisville, Mich., and Joyce Dingeldein and the late Curtis Dingeldein, of Mikado, Mich. He is a graduate of Alcona High School. 
 
He is a member of the Georgia Army National Guard 148th Support Battalion based in  Statesboro. 
 
An afternoon wedding is planned for Nov. 20, 2010, at Woodlawn Plantation, Guyton.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga. Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
