Mr. and Mrs. John Bradley Long of Springfield are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Tiffany Louise Long, to Zachary Alan Writch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Alan Writch of Clyo.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bashlor of Springfield and Mr. and Mrs. James W. Long of Springfield. She is a 2004 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2007 graduate of Gwinnett College, where she received a degree in dental laboratory. She is employed by the Boilermakers of Savannah.

The groom-to-be is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Buell Phillmon and the late Charles Writch of Jackson County, Mr. and Mrs. David Schneider of Rincon and Mr. Tom Welsh of Philadelphia. He is a 2006 graduate of Effingham County High School and attended Middle Georgia College. He now is employed by YP Media.

The wedding is planned for June 4 in St. Simons Island.
