Mr. Alan Mock and Dr. Ray and Angie Gaskin announce the engagement of their daughter, Cheyanne Mock from Springfield, to Allen Jackson of Clyo.

Allen is the son of Dale Jackson, and his mother is Susan Zaughn of Statesboro.

Cheyanne is the granddaughter of Audry Mock of Rincon and Ernest and Lynette Jones of Springfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga. Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
