Jack and Elizabeth Neidlinger of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Jenna Kathleen, to Joseph Stephen Watkins, son of Joe and Barbara Watkins of Claxton.

The bride-elect’s maternal grandparents are the late Kenneth Sessions of Savannah and the late Phebe Sessions of Guyton. Her paternal grandparents are Reginald and Kathleen Neidlinger of Rincon. She is a 2003 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in human resource management. She is employed at The Claxton Bank.  She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority and was the chapter president for 2006-07.  She is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

The groom-elect’s maternal grandparents are Ann Sands and the late Carson Sands of Daisy.  His paternal grandparents are the late Holmes and Mary Watkins of Claxton. He is a 2001 graduate of Claxton High School and a 2007 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. He is a financial representative for Northwestern Mutual Finance and the owner of The Fitness Center in Claxton. He is a member of Tau Sigma Honor Society.

The wedding is planned for Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at 6 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church in Springfield.  

All family and friends are invited to attend. A reception will follow at Mill Creek Banquet Hall in Rincon.
