Mr. and Mrs. Steven D. Reid of Rincon are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kristin Lynn Reid, to Tyler David Wood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Wood of Jensen Beach, Fla.
Kristin is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Baker of Dodge City, Kan., and Mr. and Mrs. Duncan Reid of Rock Island, Ill. Tyler is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. David Thomas of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Kristin is a 2006 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2010 graduate of Mercer University with a Bachelors of Business Administration.
She is currently attending Indiana University to pursue her Master of Accounting in hopes of becoming a CPA.
Tyler graduated in 2008 from Mercer University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a 2010 graduate of Purdue University with a Master of Mechanical Engineering. Tyler is employed as an engineer in Crane, Ind.
The wedding will be Jan. 1, 2011 at First Christian Church, Savannah.
