Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Bryan of Guyton announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Ann Bryan, to James Augustus Seckinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Seckinger of Springfield.

The future bride graduated from Effingham County High School in 2004. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mercer University and a master’s of business administration from Georgia Southern University. She is employed as a senior financial analyst at Gulfstream Aerospace.

The future groom also graduated from Effingham County High School in 2004. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Georgia Southern University and is employed by John S. James Corporation as an import administrator.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 12, 2013, at the Gnann-Seckinger home in Springfield.
