Mr. and Mrs. Eddie D. Stewart of Guyton are excited and pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amber Jade Stewart, 23, to Derek Marty Shearouse, 26, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty S. Shearouse of Guyton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Iris J. Frost and the late Master Sgt. James Clinton Frost of Dublin and Sgt. First Class retired Daniel Bryant and the late Barbara R. Bryant of Dexter. Amber is a graduate of South Effingham High School.  She is currently employed by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Dorothy Kindle, and the late Master Sgt. Robert L. Kindle Sr. of Eden and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Shearouse of Guyton. Derek is a 2002 graduate of Georgia Aviation Technical College. He is currently employed by Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah.

The wedding will be held on the lawn of Vickey’s Tavern in Savannah’s South Bridge on Oct. 13, 2007, at 6 p.m. Reception will follow in the clubhouse. Reverend George Pabst will perform the ceremony. Friends and family are invited to attend.
