Kimberly Dawn Tucker and Travis Clayton Bazemore

Dennis and Tina Tucker of Dixie are pleased to announce the upcoming marriage of Kimberly Dawn Tucker to Travis Clayton Bazemore, son of Earl and Connie Bazemore of Rincon. Kimberly is the daughter of Dennis and the late Connie Shiver Tucker.

Kimberly is the granddaughter of the late Edgar and Mildred Shiver of Boston, and James and Dorothy Tucker of Quitman. She is a 2004 graduate of Open Bible Christian School in Valdosta and a 2009 graduate of Valdosta State University, where she earned a degree in music education. She is employed at Rincon Elementary School as a music teacher.

Travis is the grandson of Earl and Ruby Neurath of Rincon, and Lavora and the late Earl Bazemore Jr. of Guyton. He is a 1999 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a degree in civil engineering. He is employed by EMC Engineering of Savannah.

Kimberly and Travis will be married on May 31 at 3 p.m. The ceremony will be held at Bible Lutheran Church in Rincon. The reception will immediately follow at New Ebenezer Retreat Center.

Friends and family are invited to attend.

Mr. and Mrs. Dale Mixon of Guyton announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Cierra Mixon, to Landon Harry Snooks, son of Steven and Harriett Snooks of Springfield. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hill, Sr. of Eatonton, Ga., and the great-granddaughter of James Harmon Sr. of Fort Valley, Ga. Cierra is a 2012 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2017 graduate of Armstrong State University with a bachelor of science in Radiologic Science with a focus in cardiovascular science. Cierra is employed at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.
