Johnny Wilson of Guyton and Sheila Wilson of Sylvania are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jonna Danielle, to Ben Thompson of Sylvania.

Jonna is the granddaughter of the late John Willie and Luveda Bragg of Sylvania and the late Pete and Jackie Wilson of Springfield. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Screven County High School. She also graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Georgia Southern University. She is the property manager at Madison Meadows in Statesboro.

Ben is the son Jimmy Thompson and Donna Stalcup. He is the grandson of Wayward and Joann Thompson and the late Loy and Jean Brinson. The groom is a 2003 graduate of Screven County High School. He is a CNC Operator at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah.

The wedding will take place Nov. 12, 2011, at Snella’s Place in Statesboro at 5 p.m. The reception will also take place at Snella’s after the ceremony.
