Ashley Marie Deason of Guyton and Steven Craig Baumann Jr. of Brunswick were married on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Skidaway Island United Methodist Church in Savannah at 5 o’clock in the evening. Rev. Jim Giddens officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Edward Deason of Guyton. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick H. Green of Savannah; Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. Price of Statesboro; Mr. and Mrs. James E. Deason of Sylvania; and the late Mr. Wray R. Akins of Savannah. The groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Baumann.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose Pria Jessica Abraham as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stacy Allen Coleman, Sera Hewett Graham and Kelly Renae Kreplin. Piper Braedyn Coleman and Heather Rhena Deason were the flower girls. The groom chose John Howard Charles as best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Andrew Kapeller, James Brandon Deason and Jacob Wray Deason. Tate Bratcher Coleman was the ring bearer. The reading was given by Drew Thompson.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the American Legion Post 135. The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and now reside in Brunswick.
