Buckmasters donate to LDSS
The Effingham County Buckmasters Association held its annual banquet and auction at Mill Creek Banquet Hall and Lodge. Every year, the Buckmasters contribute a portion of the total money raised to a charitable organization. This year, they donated $1,760 to the Lowcountry Down Syndrome Society. The LDSS works to raise awareness and to advocate for those with Down syndrome. Chairman Lamar Allen is shown with a check given to representatives of the LDSS, Bobby and Wendy Fears, and their daughter, Kristen.
