Air Force Airman 1st Class Casey D. Davis graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.

Davis is the daughter of John C. and Joyce A. Davis and granddaughter of Roberta Goldwire, all of Clyo. She is also the niece of Maryalice Johnson of Savannah.

She is a 1997 graduate of Effingham County High School.

Davis completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
