Effingham Health to tee it up for local charities

Effingham Health System will host a golf tournament to benefit local charities March 28 at Lost Plantation Golf Club.

Registration will be from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and lunch will be from 11-11:45 a.m., followed by tee-off at noon.

For $400, gold sponsors can enter a foursome in the tournament and have their company’s sign at a tee box. A silver sponsorship is $350 and includes a foursome and the company’s sign at a green.

Other sponsorship opportunities are bronze ($250, foursome), tee box ($125, sign at a tee box) and $75 (sign at a green). All payments are due by March 21. Make checks payable to the Effingham Chamber of Commerce.

A golfer who sinks a hole-in-one in the tournament will win a 2014 Chevrolet Impala, sponsored by Fuller Chevrolet.

The charity golf tournament will be held in conjunction with the Chamber’s Civil War Experience, which is set for the following weekend, April 5, at Freedom Park in Rincon.
