Manna House Ministries Director Lisa Bush, Food Lion Manager James Curry and Sonya Singletary show off the shopping carts of food donated to Manna House.

Food Lion of Rincon expressed the idea to do their part in helping families that may be facing tough times. Food Lion employees and their customers collected more than 200 food items during the two-week period. The items were donated to Manna House Ministries of Rincon.

The store plans to continue the food drive through April.

Manna House was thrilled with the generous donation and expresses great appreciation to this business in helping to end hunger in Effingham County.
