The 2008 Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf announced that all Imperial Sugar Company employees will be given the opportunity to attend the upcoming tournament at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa, April 21–27.  The tickets are being donated by the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf tournament.

Imperial Sugar Company employees should contact their human resources department by April 11 to receive the tickets.  Each employee will be issued up to four daily tickets to be used by the employee and his or her family.

“The Champions Tour is committed to giving back to our communities,” said Tim Iley, executive director. “Our thoughts and prayers have been with the Imperial Sugar Co. employees and their families during this difficult time.  We hope this opportunity will give them a day of fun together. This event provides a wonderful opportunity for all families to enjoy first-class golf with Champion Tour players like defending champion Jay Haas, Fred Funk, Craig Stadler, Scott Hoch and Lee Trevino, and the many amenities the tournament has to offer.”

In addition to seeing the greatest names on the Champions Tour compete, ticket holders are also invited to take part in Golfweek Magazine’s “Golfest” on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Golfest is a fun and entertaining golf expo where you can test the latest equipment, watch celebrity demonstrations, enjoy fun zone games, register for prize drawings and much more.

“On behalf of the Imperial Sugar family, I want to thank the Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf for their kindness and generosity.  The opportunity to attend the tournament and ‘Golfest’ means so much to our company and employees,” said John Sheptor, president and CEO of Imperial Sugar.  “Imperial associates will enjoy these events with their families and friends, which is very important at this time.”
