Great American Opportunities, Inc., a national school fundraising company, held its 2007 awards banquets at its headquarters in Nashville, Tenn., in February.

Honored at those banquets were nearly 200 fundraising consultants who had distinguished themselves by assisting schools in raising money for much needed equipment, field trips, and other educational enrichment projects.

Local Great American representative Ty Rietkovich was recognized for helping raise over $1 million for area schools.
