U.S. Army Pvt. Joshua M. Hill graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.
During the 10 weeks of training, Hill studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values. After graduation, Hill moved on to AIT at Fort Gordon in Augusta.
During his 25 weeks of training, Hill graduated in the top 3 percent of his class for the MOS in computer detection system repairs.
Hill is a 2007 graduate of South Effingham High School and the son of Delaine and Sam Journagan of Guyton.
