Oakland Athletics outfielder Josh Reddick and the Josh Reddick Foundation delivered more checks for Effingham County organizations after his fundraising efforts.

The foundation donated $1,000 to the Effingham County Animal Shelter and a $5,000 check to Effingham County Recreation and Parks.

Reddick said the foundation’s purpose is to “give back to the community that was an integral part of my success.”
