Mohs promoted to master sergeant

Tech Sgt.  Charles E. Mohs has been promoted to the senior non-commissioned officer rank of master sergeant.  

Master Sgt. Mohs serves as the munitions flight chief for the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC), Savannah’s unique military air training facility, and an element of the Georgia Air National Guard, headquartered at Savannah International Airport.

Mohs, a native of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., initially joined the Air Force in 1996, serving in Osan Air Base, South Korea as an equipment maintenance crew member. He served in the active duty Air Force for 10 years before joining the Savannah CRTC in 2006 as a munitions systems craftsman.   

Accepting ever increasing levels of responsibility, he applied for and was selected to serve as the munitions flight chief for the local training facility.  

Master Sgt. Mohs and family reside in Rincon.
