Pete Peterson, owner of Breland Well Drilling, was named the Rotarian of the Year by the Sunrise Rotary Club for his outstanding contribution of chairing the Rotary Club of Effingham Sunrise annual golf tournament, now in his 15th consecutive year.

This is the signature fundraising event for the club and has allowed it to give back to the community, including scholarships for students at both high schools.
