U.S. Border Patrol agent Bryan E. Tice graduated from Border Patrol basic academy in Artesia, N.M.

Tice, the son of Bobby Tice of Pooler and Cheryl Tice of Guyton, will begin his career in southeast Arizona after completing eight weeks of advanced training in Spanish.

Tice received awards for being the top graduate academically, earning the highest score in physical training and the highest average in driver training.

The Border Patrol is renowned for having one of the most rigorous training programs among federal agencies.
