VNS Corporation honored the Pro Sales Force for Choo Choo Build-It Mart and Wholesale Building Products at its 19th Annual Pro Sales Banquet on April 19 in Vidalia.
The Pro Sales teams are recognized annually for their contributions to the company, which employs 24 Pro Sales Force members who generated 79 percent of the company’s total sales.
Hugh Peterson Jr., Chairman of the Board and CEO, recognized the following operations for setting new sales records in fiscal year ending March 2007: Jefferson, Lake Oconee, Milledgeville, Richmond Hill, Rincon, Bestline Sash and Door and Lake Oconee Installed Sales Division.
Philip Flanders, director of sales, presented Choo Choo Build-It Mart and Wholesale Building Products Pro Sales membership awards to qualifying individuals. To qualify as a Choo Choo Build-It Mart Pro Sales Force member, a salesperson must sell at least $2.25 million annually and a Wholesale Building Products Pro Sales Force member must sell over $4 million annually.
Gary Campbell, president and COO, presented the Choo Choo Build-It Mart first runner-up award to Jackie Allmond of Rincon for the second-highest contribution to the company from a Choo Choo salesperson.
Allmond has been the recipient of one of the top sales awards for the past four consecutive years. Awards were also presented to salespeople in the Wholesale Building Products division of VNS Corporation.
Ronald “Ron” Johns was presented the Wholesale Building Products Superstar Award by Mr. Peterson. Johns has been with the company for 36 years and a WBP Pro Sales member for the past 18 years. Johns has received this prestigious award every year since 1998.
Larry Canady accepted the Wholesale Building Products Superstar Runner-up Award from Gary Campbell. Canady was recognized for his accomplishments and the professional relationship he maintains with his customers.
VNS Corporation has five operating divisions: Choo Choo Build-It Mart, Wholesale Building Products, Installed Sales Division, Bestline Sash and Door and Charlie’s Surplus Building Materials. TrussMart Building Components, LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of VNS Corporation.
Choo Choo Build-It Mart has nine full-line stores in Georgia and two Window and Door Centers located in Brunswick and Bluffton, S.C. Wholesale Building Products, located in Vidalia, is a distributor of building products serving multifamily and light commercial projects in the Southeastern United States. Both divisions offer installed sales on most products sold.
Bestline Sash & Door, located in Ailey, is one of the largest manufacturers of door units for residential and light commercial construction in the Southeast.
Charlie’s Surplus Building Materials is a cash and carry store located in East Dublin, specializing in surplus and shop grade building products but also carries many premium grade products when available.
TrussMart Building Components, LLC, located in Glennville, is a custom manufacturer of roof and floor trusses for the building industry.
