DOL to hold workshop for laid-off educators

ATLANTA – The Georgia Department of Labor will continue a series of workshops Saturday to help laid-off employees of educational institutions transition into new careers.
 
The workshops, which will last approximately two hours, will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the following location: Savannah Hyatt Regency, 2 West Bay St., Savannah, in the Vernon Room. 
 
Please note that the workshops are not job fairs, but workshops designed for the education employees being laid off throughout the state.
