Effingham County Sheriff’s investigators are looking for the suspects who apparently made off with more than $20,000 in audio and musical equipment from a local school.

Video surveillance cameras showed two suspects entering the Marlow Learning Center around 2 a.m. Monday. According to authorities, the suspects were shown leaving the Marlow Learning Center with items in their hands.

The equipment belongs to the International Worship Center, which is using the learning center’s auditorium as it builds a new facility on Highway 17.

The suspects took items including audio equipment, speakers and drums.

International Worship Center members discovered their equipment was missing around 6 p.m. Monday.

“We are canvassing the area,” said ECSO spokesman Detective David Ehsanipoor.

Anyone with any information about the theft is asked to call the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office at 754-3449.
