The Fortson 4-H Center is 30 miles south of Atlanta, behind the Atlanta Motor speedway.  However, for two Effingham County Jr. 4-H’ers, Marci Delcampo and Dana Mincey, it was home away from home for a week of camp. 

The girls enjoyed classes and activities such as a rope course, waterpark, Stone Mountain, Atlanta Motor Speedway, and classes covering topics from wilderness survival to healthy lifestyles. 

The Effingham County 4-H program is a supporter of youth development and events that enhance such skills as leadership and citizenship.
