Rena DeBlasio was recognized as one of the top 5 percent of her class at The University of Georgia on April 25.

DeBlasio is a 2005 graduate of Effingham County High School. She is a second year student majoring in English education. Her cumulative grade point average is 3.98.

This is her second year being recognized as an honor student at UGA.
