Adam Dwayne Hebert

Adam Dwayne Hebert has been selected to receive the Henry L. Trussell Jr. Scholarship awarded by the University of Georgia College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences for the 2007-2008 academic year. Each year the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences awards approximately $100,000 in scholarships to students studying in any of their 24 majors.

The Henry L. Trussell Jr. Scholarship, established by Emily Trussell and Henry L. Trussell III in memory of Henry L. Trussell Jr. who served as a county extension agent in Georgia for more than 30 years and believed education was extremely important. The scholarship is awarded to a student in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences based on financial need, scholarship and extracurricular activities within the CAES.

Hebert is a senior dual majoring in advertising and agribusiness. He has served as vice president for activities and vice president for alumni relations for Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, been a member of Ag Econ Club, Ag Hill Council, Interfraternity Council, Order of Omega, and Alpha Zeta Honor Fraternity.

Hebert is the son of Dwayne and Melissa Hebert of Rincon.
