The Effingham County High School Lady Rebels basketball team visited Rincon Elementary School on Monday.
The team read stories about sportsmanship, motivation and playing sports. They also answered questions from K-5 students about what being a student-athlete is like.
The ECHS players stressed the importance of time management, having a good attitude and always showing good sportsmanship. “It was a really enjoyable experience for all parties involved,” said Lady Rebels head coach Curtis Stevens.
