Many clowns were seen around Blandford Elementary School on March 3.

During the week of Feb. 24-28, for a $1 donation per vote, students and staff at BES cast their ballot for the teacher they wanted to see dress up as a clown.

More than $600 was raised and will be included in the school’s donation to Relay For Life.

This is just one of the events the Relay for Life team planned for Blandford Elementary throughout this school year. All donations will be contributed at the annual Effingham County Relay for Life on May 9 at Effingham County High School.
