Kindergarten students at Sand Hill Elementary celebrated Columbus Day with boat races, hats and a parade.

Hats were made with newspaper, and the students experimented with looking through telescopes made from paper towel rolls.

The students participated in a parade, and the class winners of the boat races  competed for overall winner.

The events were coordinated by kindergarten teachers Felicia Louder, Jennifer Rahn, Lori Dasher, Paula Richardson, Kathryn Roberts and Eleasha Donaldson.
