Two former South Effingham High School students have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP (Advanced Placement) exams they took last spring during the senior year.  

Annie Tang, the daughter of John and Emily Tang of Rincon, received the AP Scholar with Honor Award for earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.  

Morgan Deason, daughter of Billy and Julie Deason of Guyton, received the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP exams with grades of 3 or higher.
