SAVANNAH — Savannah Technical College will close all of its regional campuses, the office at the Fort Stewart Army Education Center, the Early Start Child Care Resource and Referral agency office in Brunswick and the Adult Literacy program offices for business all day, Friday as it holds its fifth annual Staff Development Day around the theme “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.”
The day will feature opening remarks from Dr. Earl Suttle, CEO of Three E Corporation, an international training firm based in Atlanta that specializes in helping businesses and organizations increase their profits and productivity by developing their employees.
“We’ve made a commitment to this activity and our employees appreciate it,” STC President C.B. Rathburn said. “It’s vital that we all have a chance to refresh ourselves and sharpen our skills.”
The day also includes the presentation of annual service awards and features workshop sessions on:

Staff Development Day is planned by a college-wide committee led by Jen Roberts, director of corporate and customized training, who chairs the Professional Development Committee.
The college will reopen for business Monday.
