5.08 ses coins for cancer

The students at Springfield Elementary School raised $1,345.82 for the American Cancer Society.

Donna Kessler, the school counselor, thought it would be a great idea to have a coin drive as part of the school’s contribution to the Relay for Life.  Each homeroom participated in the fundraiser.

Karen Seckinger’s fourth grade class won first place by raising $160. Seckinger’s class received an ice cream party for being the homeroom with the highest amount of money donated.

Hunter Holloway donated more than $60.
