Mary Surber, a member of Girl Scout Troop 30197, and Marian Hodge have worked together to plan Bingo Tuesdays and Craft Thursdays during the summer months.

Surber is working toward earning her Silver Torch Award, which recognizes a Girl Scout cadette who acts as a leader in her community.

The summer activities kicked off June 2 when Surber led a group of youngsters in playing Sunny Fun Bingo games along with enjoying a snack. All kids ages 5-10 are invited to attend these events at Teach Right.

Tuesday bingo will be held June 30 and July 7, 14 and 21 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. each day. Thursday craft days are June 18 and July 2, 16 and 23 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. each day.
