Celebrating national garden club week Annie Oglesby, long-time member of the Rincon Garden Club, presented Rincon City Manager Michael Phillips with a floral arrangement in recognition of National Garden Club week June 7-13. The Rincon Garden Club has planted flowers at the city hall, the library and the Hinely Building. The Club also participates in Olde Effingham Day’s flower show, a booth at the county fair, decorating the Christmas tree and presenting Christmas stockings to the residents of the Effingham Care Center. The club recently participated in Rincon’s Great American Cleanup.
