Dean Forest Baptist Church
The Lefevre Quartet will be in concert at Dean Forest Baptist Church with special guests “Southern Crossroads” on Aug. 26.
The concert will start at 7 p.m. and a $5 donation will be required at the door - also, a Love offering will be received.

Pastoral anniversary at Macedonia
The officers and members of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 724 Central Blvd, Gutyon, are inviting the public to their Pastor and First Lady Harden 3rd Pastoral Anniversary.
The services will run Wednesday through Friday beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday will feature the Rev. Dr. Leo Burns of Union Springs Missionary Baptist Church in Clyo.
On Thursday, the Rev. Gergory Thomas of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Register and Springhill Mssionary Baptist Church in Statesboro will speak.
“Friday Night Live” is slated for Friday.This will be dress-down night.
On Pastor Brock Taylor of -United Fellowship Worship Center in Statesboro will address the congregation.

St John’s Lutheran Church in Rincon is selling Boston butt tickets from Rusty Pig for $25 until Sept. 3 to raise money for the roof project.

Anniversary for Pastor at Effingham County Jail
Mayola Sanders, a pastor and chaplain at the Effingham County Jail, will be honored at noon on Sept. 10 at the Effingham County Recreation Department, 808 Ga. Hwy 119 in Springfield.
Savannah radio personality E. Larry McDuffie will serve as master of ceremonies. Music will be provided by The Legendary Singing Stars of New York and Deacon Roland McCarr and the Gospel Travelers.

Revival at Abundant Life Church
Abundant Life Church will host its annual Fall Harvest Revival with Eternal Vision on Sept. 15-17.
Services will begin at 7 p.m. on the first and second days. On the final day, services will be offered at 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Eternal Vision recently logged the No. 1 song on the Christian charts titled “I Want to Know More About My Lord.”

Egypt Missionary Baptist Church
Egypt Missionary Baptist Church will host their annual Fall Festival on Aug. 29-31 at 7:30 p.m. each night.
Pastor Marc Williams will close out the celebration on Sunday, Sep. 3.

Community Yard Sale
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church will host a community yard sale the second Saturday of every month, from 7 a.m.-1 p.m. in the church parking lot at 155 Goshen Rd. in Rincon. 
St. Luke’s will provide the set-up area, restrooms and advertisement.
Vendors will provide tables and items to sell, and keep all proceeds from their sales.
It is a free service with no sign-up or registration.
Space is available on a first-come basis.
Vendors are asked to remove all of the items they do not sell and remove packing materials and miscellaneous items they bring with them.
