Frank DeVoe Jr. and Tammy DeVoe are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Renee, to Mr. Erik William Setto, son of Mr. and Mrs. William F. Setto Jr.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Danny and Betty Brier of Guyton, and Harold Arrington of Guyton, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Delano DeVoe Sr. of Mechanicville, N.Y. She is a 2006 graduate of South Effingham High School and a student of Ashworth University studying psychology, and Columbia Southern University studying a B.A.B.A. focusing on human resources. She is employed by the YMCA of Coastal Georgia.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mary Powell and the late James Powell of Rincon, and Mr. and Mrs. William F. Setto, Sr. of Cannonsburgh, Penn., and Faye Weaver of Washington, Penn. He is a 2006 graduate of South Effingham High School and a 2007 graduate of the South Carolina Fire Academy Recruit School. He is employed by the Hardeeville Fire Department.

The wedding will take place May 14 at the Bamboo Farms of Coastal Georgia, and the couple will honeymoon in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
