Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Simmons of Springfield announce the engagement of their daughter Ryan Leigh Herring to Matthew Alexander Davis, son of Mr. Timmy Davis and Mrs. Athena Northway.

The bride-elect is currently a full time student at Savannah Technical College.

The groom-elect is owner of Davis Tire and Davis Trucking in Rincon.

The wedding is planned for March 3, 2012 at Woodlawn Plantation in Guyton.
