Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Moore of Guyton are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Leigh Moore to Jason Wayne Hurst, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Hurst of Rincon.

Jessica is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy H. Brant of Rincon and Mr. and Mrs. J. Franklin Moore of Guyton and the late Mrs. Dorothy Moore. She is also the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Pauline Williams of Sylvania and the late Mr. Robbie Williams and the late Ms. Maggie Brant.

She is a 2006 graduate of Effingham County High School. She will graduate in May from Ogeechee Technical College with a diploma in dental assisting. She currently works at the dental office of Dr. Ed Hagan and Drs. Maria and Craig Martinson in Sylvania.

Jason is the grandson of Mrs. Sadie Hurst of Rincon and the late Mr. Napoleon Hurst and the late Rosa Lee Howard of Sardis. He is a 2004 graduate of Effingham County High School and currently works at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah.

The wedding is planned for March 27 at 4 p.m. at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Weitman, 1776 Union Springs Rd., Newington.
