Mr. and Mrs. Carey Anthony Rountree of Marietta announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Janette, to Dimitri Loiewski Cassini, son of Ms. Brenda Mitchell of Sandy Springs, and the late Igor Loiewski Cassini.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ross Lee Rountree of Springfield, Georgia, and Mrs. Edwina Bush Thomley and the late Alton Lanier Davis of Colquitt.

Miss Rountree is a 2002 graduate of Wheeler High School in Marietta and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in early childhood education. She is employed as a first grade teacher with Cobb County Schools.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Bill Hamilton Mitchell of Loganville, the late Floy Marian Mitchell of Winder, and the late Count Alexander and Countess Marguerite Loiewski Cassini of Italy.

Mr. Cassini is a 2001 graduate of Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs and a 2007 graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in sports business.  He is a sales consultant for international luxury real estate development in Florence, Italy.

The wedding will take place on Dec. 19, 2009, at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta.
