Stephen and Jeanne Webb of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Amanda Webb, to Delma Nicholas Exley, son of Kerry and Judy Exley of Springfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Willard and Rozena Webb of New Holland and the late James and Betty House of Gillsville. She is a 2003 graduate of Banks County High School in Homer. She graduated in 2007 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor’s degree in biology and received a master’s degree in secondary science education from Piedmont College in Demorest in 2009. She is employed as a science teacher with the Savannah-Chatham Public School System in Savannah.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Delma and Helen Usher of Springfield and the late Marion and Frances Exley of Clyo. He is a 2002 graduate of Effingham County High School in Springfield. He graduated in 2007 from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro with a bachelor’s degree in finance and he received a master’s degree for secondary business education in 2011. He is employed as a business/CTAE teacher with Savannah-Chatham Public Schools in Savannah.

The couple plan to wed Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Gillsville Baptist Church in Gillsville.
