Mr. and Mrs. William Wiewel of Norman, Okla., are proud to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Montesha Rae Wiewel to Christopher Scot Pace, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pace of Springfield.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John P. (Jack) Wiewel and the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Welch, all of El Reno, Okla. She is a 1997 graduate of Central Union High School in El Centro, Calif., and a 2002 graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University. She is currently employed by the Effingham County Board of Education where she is a physical education teacher and coach.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Pace of Springfield and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace (Jack) Parrish of Rincon. He is a 2001 graduate of Effingham County High School and a 2004 graduate of Mercer University in Macon. He is currently a master’s student at South University where he is studying to be a physician’s assistant.

The wedding will take place on June 23 at Effingham Baptist Church in Rincon.  The couple will reside in Springfield.
