At the annual Savannah Deanery Council of Catholic Women Christmas party, more than 130 attendees and the Operation Welcome Home project resulted in more than 100 gift bags being assembled and delivered to Staff Sgt. Kristina Gillis of the Fort Stewart-Hunter Army Airfield BOSS (Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers) program. Along with Staff Sgt. Gillis is Yvette Carr of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Springfield.
