Representatives from Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) Region 12, which includes Bulloch and Effingham counties, and from CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for the Ogeechee Judicial Circuit, recently updated their protocol for working together for the safety and well-being of the community’s children.

CASA is a volunteer-powered network of people from all walks of life who believe society has a fundamental obligation to these children.

All volunteer advocates must be 21 years of age and agree to a a full background check. CASA provides training and supervision.
