Bill Tyson, Effingham County extension agent, received the 2013 County Extension Award for outstanding leadership and contributions to the Georgia soybean industry from the Georgia/Florida Soybean Association at the 2013 Georgia/Florida Soybean and Small Grain Expo.

Dr. Jared Whitaker, UGA Extension cotton and soybean specialist, presented Tyson with the award.
