CADDA names Jeffers loan officer

Wendy Jeffers was promoted to loan officer for CADDA's Savannah office. Prior to working with CADDA, Jeffers earned a BBA from Valdosta State University. She is certified as an economic development finance professional as well as certified consumer credit counselor.  

Jeffers joined CADDA in 1999 as a loan specialist. She and her family reside in Guyton and are members of Faith Baptist Church.

The Coastal Area District Development Authority (CADDA) was created in 1976 and became a Certified Development Company for the purpose of delivering the Small Business Administration (SBA) 504 Program in 1982. CADDA also offers loans through the SBA 7A guaranteed and Rural Development IRP loan programs. CADDA offers these loan programs to small businesses in Southeast Georgia, lower South Carolina and northern Florida.

The objective of these economic development loan programs is to create or retain permanent jobs and increase productivity in the communities. Since 1976, CADDA has assisted in creating or retaining 8,500 jobs, in participation with area banks.
