CORE Credit Union to offer financial planning services

CORE Credit Union announces it now offers financial planning services, in partnership with CUSO Financial Services, L.P. (CFS).

Bill Smith is an investment advisor, registered through CFS, who provides no-obligation, personal and confidential investment, insurance and trust planning services to CORE members.

As a retired Air Force officer, he brings the Air Force’s core values to his work. Smith has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years.

“We are very excited about this partnership offering retirement and financial planning services to our members,” said Bobby Michael, President and CEO of CORE Credit Union. “Their investment products will provide even more financial value to credit union members and are very complimentary with the CDs and IRA products that CORE offers.”

“I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their life’s financial dreams and goals and I have made it my mission to help as many people do that as I can,” Smith said of partnering with CORE. “The credit union industry was founded to educate and assist people with smart financial management and savings, and that is a core value we both share.”  

Smith is available for appointments at CORE’s branch office on 43 North Main St. in Statesboro.
