Small business owners can learn about employment taxes

A three-hour evening workshop entitled “Employment Taxes” will be held for new and existing small business owners on Sept. 27 and will begin at 6 p.m.

It will be held at the Small Business Assistance Center, 111 East Liberty St., Savannah and will be conducted by The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center.

This workshop will give attendees an overview of their responsibility to report federal payroll taxes for their employees. It will also discuss the filing requirements and due dates for the various tax forms.

Attendees will also learn your responsibility for collecting and remitting the state of Georgia income tax and employment taxes.  

The cost of this workshop is $40 per person. Seating is limited so early registration is recommended.
